SOMERVILLE, Tenn. –David Cooper Smith, 38, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. He was born Aug. 21, 1969, in Memphis to Earl Cooper Smith and Alice Anderson Smith. He was a Methodist and an employee of FedEx.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Abbeville Cemetery.
Survivors include three aunts, Frances McGarah of Deleware, Ohio, and Betty Smith and Minnie Smith, both of Memphis; two uncles, Albert Smith and Hardin Smith, both of Memphis; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
